About

About Jinlun Yuraku Town, Taimali Township, Taitung County

Jinlun Youle Town was founded by the spirit of Teacher Chen Qizhen. In the early days, there was a lack of educational information in Taimali Township, Taitung City, near Huang/Liqiu/Jinlun Village... and other places. Teacher Chen volunteered to teach in Taitung Taimali and other places. Teacher Chen passed away in 102, and before leaving, he last informed his five children that "teaching" was the honorific term "teaching" in the local area. To this day, local people still remember Teacher Chen's teachings. Happiness] Outlook on life, looking forward to establishing restaurants and B&Bs as a place where future generations will often gather, and Yurakucho was born.

Yurakucho originally means "happy market". Yurakucho is divided into three parts, namely B&Bs, hot springs, and cultural and creative exhibitions. The hot springs are located directly below Yurakucho.

[B&B] provides top-quality comfortable mattresses and a variety of exquisite aboriginal-style breakfasts, providing a slow and high-quality environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

[Hot Springs] The inspection unit has verified that this B&B has high-quality, weakly salty carbonated hot springs with high mineral content. It can provide smooth salt water hot springs without any further processing/heating.

[Cultural and Creative Exhibition] Jinlun is a village of the Paiwan people. The place is full of humanities and secret scenery. Coupled with the innate environment of Taitung’s blue sky, it is a good choice to learn about the culture of the Paiwan people.

Tsuchisaka Village

Among the straight tribal paths, the representative totems of the Paiwan people seem to be welcoming along the road. The Paiwan literary and artistic community in Tuban is like a dreamlike tribe that attracts resident artists. Wood carvers and artists present not only tradition but also new elements in their creations. Behind the works, there is a historical inheritance that the tribesmen want to express, which is of great significance.

Sapari Sabari Culture and Art Studio

Behind every piece of wood, there is a moist life story

He mainly carves and creates in the morning, and in the afternoon often leads tourists to take about three hours of wood carving experience courses (experience courses must be reserved at least two weeks in advance, and a group of four people is required). The course content covers an introduction to Paiwan culture and the story of visiting the studio. Finally, basic wood carving skills are taught. In this way, people who come to experience tribal culture can go home with totems carved by themselves.

Dawu Rainbow Village

Dawu Rainbow Street is located on Dawu Street. It is one of the communities that was sponsored by a well-known international paint brand. The originally pale exterior walls were designed and repainted with colorful colors, suddenly full of vitality. There are also villages that were forced to relocate due to the August 8 Typhoon. Most of the permanent houses of the Toyama tribe residents are decorated with various totems with aboriginal characteristics at the entrance, which is very special when paired with bold and impactful exterior wall colors.

Whenever you enter Dawu, you always open your arms and take a few more puffs of "blue" greedily. Nanhui Art Season-Sun

The ethnic groups that live in Jinlun Village in Taimali, Taitung, are diverse, with the Paiwan ethnic group being the majority. The Paiwan people are known as the "Sons of the Sun." In addition, landscape art is a sculptural extension of the environment after the intervention of human consciousness. Therefore, we used local sand and stone to create a moon-shaped arc-shaped sculpture that looks like rising from the land, and transformed the common totems of the Paiwan people into the sculpture, like a huge piece of cut woven cloth, or a spiritual figure. The totem container carries the nature of this place. While the window on the sculpture extends the space, it is also a window through which we can feel time and detect the changes in all things. It echoes the wisdom of the Paiwan people to coexist with nature. It also echoes the laws of the universe, the core of nature, and pulses with the earth.
